 Corporate Social Responsibility

We believe that doing business in a responsible, sustainable way goes hand in hand with doing business successfully. Although we are a relatively small business, it is still our goal to have a positive impact, this can be achieved directly and through working with our suppliers and customers.

As well as working to reduce our own carbon footprint - and offsetting all emissions that we cannot offset - we work actively with Green suppliers and ask our customers to consider Greener options where available.

In addition, we are working to actively support Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF - "Doctors without Borders"). We will be donating directly to this charity as well as giving our clients a chance to do the same.

About MSF

Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is an independent international medical humanitarian organization that delivers emergency aid in more than 60 countries to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics, natural or man-made disasters or exclusion from healthcare.

In emergencies and their aftermath, MSF rehabilitates and runs hospitals and clinics, performs surgery, battles epidemics, carries out vaccination campaigns, operates feeding centres for malnourished children and offers MSF Logomental health care. When needed, MSF also constructs wells, dispenses clean drinking water, and provides shelter materials like blankets and plastic sheeting.

Through longer-term programs, MSF treats patients with infectious diseases such as tuberculosis, sleeping sickness and HIV/AIDS and provides medical and psychological care to marginalized groups such as street children.

Founded by doctors and journalists in 1971, MSF is now a worldwide movement with sections in 19 countries and an international coordination office in Geneva, Switzerland.

In 1999, MSF was awarded the International Nobel Peace Prize, "in recognition of the organisation's pioneering humanitarian work on several continents." The award honoured the work of MSF relief workers bringing medical assistance to people in more than 80 countries — over 20 of which are in conflict.
